In a nutshell, I've been a mess most of my life.  Three divorces by the age of 25 and numerous stress-related illnesses that almost took me down.  I've experienced great joys and deep shame - and I've made it to the other side. I was a staunch atheist, having disregarded Christianity because of the so called “believers” I observed behaving in selfish, disrespectful and judgmental ways.  And then my dear Uncle Jim came along and with sincere love and compassion told me the truth about Christianity and what it meant to be a Christian.  It didn't seem there was anywhere else to go, so I decided to check it out for myself.

It took me quite a few years to understand and fully embrace the life God was offering to me, but once I did I wished I’d done it much sooner.  Doing life hand-in-hand with the God of the Universe is amazing.  He has shown himself to be real and completely faithful through all of my life’s circumstances.

I have suffered through debilitating health crises, failed relationships, estrangement from loved ones, catastrophic financial ruin and now I am unleashed... 

I believe God wants me to share my story as an encouragement to others who may still be in the worst of times.  If that’s you, or someone you love, please be encouraged.  My past is not one I’m proud of, but I cannot deny the miraculous work God has done in my life since I surrendered it to him. If your life is a mess, take comfort.  Your story is not finished.
